Same Day Tooth Replacement
A broken or severely damaged front tooth can happen unexpectedly and often requires prompt treatment to restore both appearance and function. In many cases, a dental implant is the most reliable long-term solution for replacing a missing tooth. For qualified candidates, Seattle Periodontics may be able to provide a “Tooth in a Day” procedure, also known as immediate implant placement with a temporary tooth.
During treatment, the damaged tooth is gently removed and the site is carefully prepared for implant placement. Once the implant is placed, Dr. O'Donnell will evaluate the stability of the implant to determine if a temporary restoration can be attached the same day. When appropriate, patients are able to leave our office with a natural-looking temporary tooth already in place.
After a healing period, your restorative dentist will replace the temporary tooth with a custom-made permanent crown designed to provide a durable, functional, and aesthetic final result.
This advanced implant procedure requires detailed planning, precision, and experience to achieve optimal results. Our team has helped many patients throughout Seattle restore their smiles with immediate dental implant treatment.
One of the biggest advantages of the “Tooth in a Day” approach is avoiding the need for a removable temporary appliance during healing, helping patients feel more comfortable and confident throughout the process.
A comprehensive consultation with Dr. O'Donnell is the best way to determine if immediate dental implant placement is the right option for you.

How It Works
CEREC & CAD/CAM Technology
CEREC utilizes advanced CAD/CAM technology to create custom crowns in-office. Instead of messy impressions, we use digital scanning for a precise fit.
Our doctors design your bespoke restoration on-screen, which is then carved from a single block of natural-looking porcelain.
