Predictable Long-term Results
Digital Radiography
Seattle Periodontics & Implant Dentistry has utilized advanced digital radiography since 2000, allowing us to capture high-resolution dental images instantly. This technology enhances diagnostic accuracy for periodontal disease and dental implant planning while significantly reducing radiation exposure compared to traditional X-rays. Digital images can be securely stored, enlarged, and shared without losing clarity, improving communication between our periodontist, referring dentists, and patients. The result is safer imaging, clearer visuals, and more precise periodontal and implant treatment planning.
3D Radiography - CBCT
Our Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) technology provides detailed three-dimensional imaging of the teeth, jawbone, and surrounding structures. Unlike traditional two-dimensional X-rays, CBCT scans offer spatially accurate views that help identify potential surgical complications and anatomical concerns before treatment begins.
By combining CBCT data with digital impression files (STL), we design custom surgical guides for precise dental implant placement. This advanced 3D imaging enhances safety, improves diagnostic clarity, and supports predictable outcomes in periodontal surgery and implant dentistry.
Intra-Oral Digital Scanner
We use the 3Shape TRIOS intraoral digital scanner to create highly accurate digital impressions—without messy trays or materials. This fast, comfortable scanning technology produces a precise 3D model of your teeth and gums, improving efficiency and patient experience.
Digital files can be securely transmitted to dental laboratories and restorative specialists, streamlining collaboration and ensuring accurate restorations for implants and periodontal treatments.
3D Printing Technology
Our in-office 3D printing technology allows us to design and fabricate customized surgical guides and treatment templates with exceptional precision. Using advanced systems from EnvisionTEC, we produce highly accurate guides that support ideal implant positioning and complex aesthetic periodontal procedures.
This digital workflow enhances surgical accuracy, reduces chair time, and improves overall treatment predictability for dental implants and gum surgery.
Advanced Air Quality – High-Volume Extraoral Suction
Patient safety is a top priority at Seattle Periodontics & Implant Dentistry. Our high-volume extraoral suction systems from ADS Dental Systems are designed to capture aerosols at the source.
These units feature built-in HEPA filtration with 99.99% efficiency for particles as small as 0.3 microns, aerosol-drying capability, and UVC light technology to help neutralize viruses and bacteria. This layered protection enhances infection control and supports a safer clinical environment.
Digital Photography
Digital photography plays a vital role in modern periodontal and implant dentistry. High-resolution images allow us to document conditions, plan aesthetic treatments, and evaluate surgical outcomes with precision.
These images can be securely archived and shared with patients, referring dentists, and insurance providers, improving communication and transparency. By integrating advanced dental photography into our workflow, we enhance diagnosis, education, and aesthetic excellence in every case.
